Imagine your life 10 years ago without an iPhone. Now, as it turns 10, imagine what it will be like 10 years from now. Think about what you can do with it today: you can send a message to people around the world in seconds via Twitter; you can arrange for a ride via Uber by tapping; you can play any piece of music you might ever imagine or get an entirely random selection of songs in an instant; watch any TV show or movie you might ever want; access the most massive assembly of human knowledge ever made available ; you can use it to track your healthcare statistics or fitness activities; control the lights, garage or other devices throughout your home from thousands of miles away; take photos of yourself and do odd things to them via Snapchat; make a living writing a very unique piece of software for this very device; track, in real time, airplanes, radar, weather, your friends or more …. and the list goes on.
Now imagine what comes next as it becomes a teenager. Happy birthday,

The typical baby born today in the Western world will live to the age of 100. Today’s 3 year old will be 86 years old when the 22nd century arrives. Can we even begin to imagine just how different the world will be in that time?
