Last week, I spoke – virtually, of course – with 500 educators in the Midwest as part of their professional development day.
In this video, I take a look at the strategy I used to pull together the event, and the different elements that made it an overall smashing success!
In essence:
- a professionally produced pre-event video (also used in the opening minutes). I do these, at my cost, for every virtual event
- a lot of tech prep with the event team to test and align the virtual setup
- pre-taped segments of 4-5 minutes in length used in the event
- a LOT of breaks for Q&A and text message polling
