Strategic success today is all about finding that right formula – and that is tough to do when volatility rages, uncertainty defines and clarity is elusive. Just a few short weeks ago, many companies presumed they’d be welcoming people back into offices; conferences and events would be moving forward; a return to normalcy was the path forward as a mindset that “Covid is over!” emerged.

Now, as Delta rages across the U.S., it’s quickly become evident that many of those assumptions were wrong. Suddenly, the near-term future seems uncertain, and previous strategies are suddenly out of date.

This is your new normal going forward – volatility is now your new normal. This means that you’ll have to continually reassess your strategies, challenge your plans, and be willing to deviate your actions. It’s pretty likely that this reality will be our real reality for a long, long time yet to come.
