In the old world, I was scheduled to headline a major retail conference in the spring -- the Path to Purchase Expo. All about how the world of consumer interaction and behaviour was changing.... In the lead up to it, I filmed a number of pre-event videos to get attendees thinking about how quickly the world fo retail was changing. You'll find them at the end of this post. Then, in the biggest understatement of the decade, the universe of the world of retail shifted with the global pandemic. All of a sudden, the industry has had to compress 10 years of change into six months. As for me? I'll now be delivering my keynote on the broad theme of 'what happens to retail AFTER Covid-19?' It should be fun! With that in mind, I hit the studio yesterday and filmed a brief clip to get some folks interested and thinking.
