“If your excuse is that it’s always someone else’s fault – it’s most likely your fault!” – Futurist  Jim Carroll

You need to own up to your failures. It’s ok – since that’s better than making excuses for things that go wrong.
That’s the best way to avoid failure in the first place, or in some cases, beneficial failure.
When it comes to innovation, you can’t be stuck doing the same old things – you need to try new things. You can’t get caught in a barren wasteland of sameness – you need to spice things up a little with a better horizon!
Making excuses leads to using the ‘innovation killers’ as a concept. You know the phrases – you can’t do that, because we’ always done it this way! It won’t work! It’s too risky! It’s bound to fail! Why can’t we just keep doing what we’ve always been doing?
Take risks, make mistakes, *own up to them*, and move on!
You’ll find it works out better in the long run!
