How should a health insurer respond to the massive transformations occurring in the world of healthcare? By getting into a disruptive state of mind, turning trends into opportunity! This organization, one of the largest health care insurers in the US, brought me in for a leadership talk that looked at what happens in a world in which Amazon is set to change the rules in healthcare including pharmaceuticals and benefit plans; in which we have better predictive healthcare analytics so that when we know people are sick; and millions of people are more engaged in their own healthcare circumstances because of massive healthcare device connectivity! You can't innovate in the world of healthcare without understanding the trends redefining your future, and that's why this organization engaged me.
