Right now, I'm off to keynote the Florida Engineering Society, and will be focussing onhow to plan for the unique challenges that are set to emerge as the pace of innovation and change continues to speed uphow the dynamics of the customer relationship are changinghow to respond to an era of rapid product, market, and service obsolescence that comes from hyper-innovationand how recruiting and HR issues will be challenged by emerging corporate structures, workplace and skills shortages and demographic trends.As the conference brochure notes, "Jim says that we cannnot afford to take or eyes off the change occurring within the engineering profession and industry...."
