“Right about now is the exact moment you should be imagining the design of your tomorrow!” – Futurist Jim Carroll
2020 will obviously forever go down in the history books as a momentous year in the entirety of human history.
And yet, so will 2021! What’s your plan? Strategy? Goals? Have you even started to think through how you will reinvent your tomorrow to align with the new realities imposed by today?
The path forward is not going to be a smooth and magical one – many industries will find that the future of their universe has forever shifted, requiring new strategies to align to different endpoints. I’ve been busy taking a look at a vast swath of industries – retail, healthcare, insurance, financial services, manufacturing, agriculture – to compile a concise overview of what comes next, and what you should do about it.
All of that has been wrapped up into a keynote topic, “20201: What To Expect When Your Future is Unexpected.” I don’t think I could have come up with a more relevant title that captures the unique reality of our new existence!

From my perspective, one of the most significant impacts of 2020 has been how organizations came to learn something new about how to operate – becoming a part of my mantra that ‘the future belongs to those who are fast!’ As I note on the topic page:
Organizations learned something new about agility, speed and flexibility during 2020, and this simple fact redefines the staggering speed of change to come in 2021.
What’s your plan? Think of it this way:
In this interactive virtual session from the world’s leading virtual speaker’s broadcast studio, futurist Jim Carroll covers the key scientific, technological, knowledge and skills trends that existed Pre-Covid, and then outlines the new challenges and opportunities that exist as we go forward into a vastly new, more complex future.
2021 folks! It’s going to be an interesting year!
