Article: Rethinking Innovation and Golf – and My Home Golf Course Credit Valley!

My last stage event was a keynote for the Canadian Golf Course Superintendents Association in Ottawa, Ontario Canada, in early March. Going on stage, I was fully aware that my life was about to dramatically change with the onset of Covid-19.

I gave one hell of a barnburner of a speech – focusing on the science around turf and course maintenance, and a wide variety of fast moving trends that would provide them opportunity going forward. But as a golfer, I also told the story of how we really need to think about the core concept of innovation to grow the game.

My keynote turned into an article, which was published yesterday in their quarterly magazine – and features photos from my home golf club, Credit Valley Golf and Country Club!
