It's always a fun event when Roger Goodell, the Commissioner of the NFL follows you on stage. I was the opening keynote for this event, the second time they've had me in. (They were previously known as the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association, and had me in for a talk in 2006.) My talk took a look at trends involving the future of sports, including smart clothing, the next generation of Mom 3.0 and how this impacts the growth of particular sports, hyperconnected sports equipment (think baseball bats with embedded chips), genomic based sports medicine and countless other trends.
