Over the years, I’ve done a lot of talks for groups of economic developers on the overall theme, “Where’s the growth?” I cover a wide variety of trends that are driving future economic growth, both from a US-centric but also a global perspective. Regions need to work harder to draw industry and to do that, they require the skills and infrastructure that will be required for a faster, more complex future. That’s what I covered in this keynote, encouraging the region to align to fast-paced trends in manufacturing, transformation, logistics, and more.
