“No one ever won with the future by thinking small. Define your opportunity by resizing the scope of your ambitions!” – Futurist Jim Carroll

I blasted out some walls in the basement yesterday, doing a massive expansion in terms of the studio size!

Actually, I just found an interesting new software feature which let me frame this shot for a client video I was working on. And then, I discovered a bug and haven’t been able to duplicate the setup, but I’m pretty certain that the scope of my ambitions with my virtual broadcast studio have expanded. (Plus, my feet disappeared! That didn’t happen in the setup!)

The shot certainly fits the particular moment in the video – I’m speaking to my ‘audience’ on how many global clients had me provide a stage talk on the issue of ‘corporate agility.’ They subscribed to my key message that ‘the future belongs to those who are fast,’ and that speed would define their success.

The business world and most industries are now enveloped in a form of speed that has never quite been known before. It’s part of a great new virtual talk section in an overall virtual keynote where I’m framing the big issue: “How Has Covid-19 Changed Your Future?

I’ve got a killer structure and content for this ‘middle bit’ for a number of upcoming talks – I first cover the issue in a general way, taking a look at the broad trends which have reshaped business and industry in the last several months, and what it means going forward. Then, I take a deep dive into the specific impact on the particular industry at hand.

Given the massive number of current geopolitical events sweeping the world, and as global economies still struggle to manage the global pandemic, there aren’t yet a lot of people thinking and strategizing as to what the world looks like ‘on the other side.’ But even so, I’m busy with my research and preparation – once the US election is over, it’s pretty certain there will be an overwhelming demand for insight on ‘what comes next.’

With that in mind, I’m expanding the size of my virtual stage to fit the scope of the opportunity!
