I’ll often speak on stage about some of the big, bold ideas being considered by some of the clients that have invited me in to talk about future trends and disruption.

Such as turning yourself from an appliance manufacturer to a hi-tech company with an #iOT core; life insurance and wellness policies based on real time information; moving from selling a product to selling a service level uptime guarantee based on predictive diagnostics; shifting into the era of self-driving autonomy; mastering hi-tech manufacturing through advanced materials and 3D printing, or selling solutions, not widgets.

This morning, I’ll be on stage opening the CIO Summit in Stamford, CT, with a room full of CIO’s of major companies. My keynote is based on my theme, “What Do World Class Innovators Do That Others’ Don’t Do?” I’ll work this image into the slide deck to emphasize my point.
