"Stop living in the 'not yet.' Start living in the 'right now!' - Futurist Jim Carroll I've long been stunned by how many innovation efforts fail because too many people wait too long. I've never understood how so many people fail to prepare for tomorrow because they simply can't get moving towards it. I've never fully come to grips with the fact that tomorrow is where all of us are going to live and yet so many do precious little to get ready for it. I’ve always wondered why people choose the comfortable pain of standing still over the temporary discomfort of moving forward. I'm consistently baffled by organizations that spend millions analyzing a future they are actively terrified of embracing! I’ve never understood the logic of waiting for certainty that never arrives, while ignoring the absolute certainty that time is running out. What I do understand is that those who get moving are those who win.
