“We define ourselves at our strongest with the action we take at the moment we are weakest!” – Futurist Jim Carroll
It’s Monday, so it must be motivation!
This one? I’ve got a massive collection of potential quotes – I might be out for a bike ride, a round of golf, or merely for a walk, and will think of one. I’ll quickly pause and type it in, sending it to myself via email. On the mornings in which I do not have a plan, I’ll go through the folder and find one which will help to set the tone for my day.
This particular one? I really don’t remember the moment or the context in which I sent it to myself. It might have happened after a particularly bad golf shot – who knows!
But what I do know is that it is this type of thinking by which I try to define the pattern and rhythm of my life. Every bad moment is an opportunity for a better moment; every setback is a chance to move forward; every negative can be turned into a positive. It can be incredibly hard to do this at times, but it helps to set a mindset by which to seize a moment.
It’s what you do at the moment that matters that really matters!
