I will never know the awful burden of hate, fear, terror, pain, and sorrow that so many others who share space with me on this small plant encounter each and every day.

I do know, however, my own personal disgust has enveloped my being every day – it burns deeply in my soul which I rarely express in my public views.

As we slowly begin to re-emerge into our collective future, it is clear that the wreckage of the last four years – driven by those who have willingly reawoken that awful ember of bigotry – will take a massive amount of work to undo.
A dream, defined, must be shared, nurtured, and acted upon with relentless belief. I am hopeful that we might society might once again tamp down those raging fires into small embers that might one day be extinguished completely.
