“Maybe you’ll find your motivation if you simply shift your perspective!” – Futurist Jim Carroll
A screen grab from a little video I did in the home broadcast studio yesterday! It’s a bit of a behind the scenes peak at the gear that goes into one of my ‘productions.’
And that’s just a small part of the overall set! Go over just a bit more to the right, and there are more monitors, cameras and other gear.
This weekend, armed with a can of green paint, we’ll do a bit of a studio expansion. I plan to incorporate a few more of these ‘behind the scenes’ camera angles into the things I will do online in the future. Part of the art of presenting and interacting in this new, virtual world is that your audience is no longer just an audience – they are participants. They want to be a part of your ‘show,’ – they want to interact, engage, ask questions, and get involved.
I can do this by not just doing a stand-up stage style talk with an awesome stage set, but also by bringing them into the studio, making them a part of the production.
Change your perspective – when you get locked into a pattern of viewing something in the same old way, you get locked into doing the same old things. When you take a different view of that very same thing, a while new imaginative mindset opens up!
Stay tuned!
