When faced with a difficult choice, the natural human instinct is to choose the easy way out: avoidance, denial, excuses, alternatives.
That’s because, perhaps, our minds aren’t wired to accept the path of most resistance.
It’s easier to avoid the hard things than it is to confront the reality of just how hard it might be.
And yet, when you finally do take the leap and make a big, bold decision, the result can (sometimes) turn out to be spectacular!
Courage, once discovered, becomes a potent tool, a powerful force, and a beacon for ongoing hope. It can almost become like a drug, cunning in how it works to shape your view of opportunity, and offering guidance on how to best approach to the future.
Once you come to realize that, the ongoing complex decisions in your life become routine and far less dramatic in scope.
Don’t defer - act!
Don’t make excuses - accept!
Don’t deny - embrace!
Don’t refuse - agree!
Don’t recoil in fear - move forward with determination!
And don’t wait. Do it today!
