“Stop talking about the problem. Do something different - focus on the obvious solution!” - Futurist  Jim Carroll ‘’ Like most sane and rational people, when confronted by a situation that makes absolutely no sense, and the path forward seems so obvious, I simply don’t know why initiative can’t override inertia. Then again, what do I know. Often there are more complex forces that surround an issues that make a solution intractable. The thing is this: I deal with many companies that fail because they know what is going to happen, yet they do nothing about it. I encounter many people who understand that things won’t work out well unless they change - but they don’t. I witness problems that surround us that would seem simple to solve yet are relentlessly complex. And so sometimes, you are just left with all you’ve got - some simple words, some basic guidance. You simply can’t give up, shrug your shoulders, move on, and wait for the next one. You’ve got to decide, at some point, that enough is enough.
