Are you ready for the new world of intelligent highway infrastructure?” - Futurist  Jim Carroll ‘’ A great photo from my keynote earlier this week for a highway infrastructure conference, about what comes next in terms of road, automative, trucking and highway infrastructure. We will see fast trends in terms of a shift to electric vehicles - and super-charging will be a critical component of smart highways of the future. Then there is the connectivity between the road and the vehicle - hyper connectivity through intelligent highway infrastructure is going to be massive. Add to that the fact that Moore’s law is coming to define the future of the automative industry, because cars and trucks are essentially becoming computers on wheels. There’s a lot of change going on, and those who are designing future highway systems need to be cognizant of all of these trends.’’
