Daily Inspiration: “Be epic. Always!”

‘’ It’s an odd job when you have to get up in the morning, and get in front of a few thousand people, and inspire them to change their approach to the future and to their life. It’s always made easier when you get a great stage such as this one — this is from an event in Las Vegas some time back.
When you have a great stage, it fires you up, and leads you into an epic performance. Because to a degree, that’s what I do in my unique career – I’m a performer. And I want my message to be enhanced by my performance on stage.

But I don’t always get a great stage such as this! And for a long time, I had to ‘play the clubs’ at small events in small venues, with pretty lousy stages. I did a lot of events in small halls in Iowa and Alberta!
And when you are “working the clubs”, so to speak, it’s difficult to get fired up. You don’t get the same motivational rush – you don’t have the same dose of adrenaline.

But even so, I always took the approach that I was going to give it my all!

I was going to strive to be EPIC!
So it is with life. You don’t always get the greatest ‘stage,’ the best situation, the perfect setup. Often times, you find yourself in a situation that is just absolutely and completely demotivating.
How to get through that? Decide to be EPIC!

You can live a life in which you are marginal, in what you do, what you think, and how you act.
Or, you can decide to be EPIC’’
