“Every bolt of insight is electrifying for your mind, providing energy to your imagination generator!” - Futurist Jim Carroll ‘’ A hokey quote maybe, but gosh, this daily picture thing is becoming fun. What goes on behind the scenes is a bit ridiculous - my older son who excels at photography, and hence, Photoshop, laughs at me, since I use multiple programs to do what he does in one! In this case, it took me 5 (!) programs to get to my photo. For the fun of it, I’ll outline what happened from my first sip of coffee to the posting. First, I used a program called Adapter on OS/X to run through a stage video to grab a few thousand still clips, from which I spotted this one. I then took it into a program called SnapHeal to cut out the video screen - it used to be there on the right. Then I took it into Luminar, a video enhancement program, to brighten it a bit. Finally, I loaded it into LensFlare Studio, a new program that I just obtained, which let me add the lightning bolt. Finally, into Preview, where I flipped it left to right, added my quote, and then imported my signature! Whew! But through this process I had the lightning bolt concept in my mind, and the quote eventually floated through with my morning coffee to bring you this little dose of daily inspiration.’’
