“Sometimes, to be the best you can be, you need the support of a great partner!” - Futurist  Jim Carroll 30 years ago today, a young woman met a guy - he smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a day, drank too much, didn’t have the faintest idea of what exercise was, ate junk food, and babbled nonsense about some strange online technology that would change the world. For some strange reason, she accepted his offer to buy a ticket on an Oktoberfest trip — he had bought 75 tickets and had rented a bus, and was desperately trying to break even. She went on the trip 2 days later, and for some reason, found him to be of interest. A romance bloomed, a marriage happened, and 2 wonderful children arrived. Today, miraculously, she is still with him, through better and worse, and travels the world with him…. Happy anniversary Christa!
