“Inaction is not a good excuse for failure!” Futurist  Jim Carroll Today I open the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show, the largest such event in Canada. It’s a perilous time for manufacturing, yet one that is full of opportunity. 3D printing, digitization of the factory, robotics and more provides an opportunity for innovation, at the same time that global politics threatens to challenge the sector. Innovators will get ahead by taking advantage of trends ….. not by sitting and waiting for other things to happen. Hence, today’s quote!
