“If it just won’t work, rip it up, and go in a different direction!” #Futurist Jim Carroll ‘’ In 2006, I was brought into a global meeting of DaimlerChrysler - and at a meeting of 20 auto executives, predicted the emergence of #TeslaMotors (in the context of what I then called a Google car.) I was laughed out of the room by what was clearly a dysfunctional company. DC didn’t survive, my idea did, and the auto industry is now in the midst of massive and wrenching change.’’
