The Story Behind the Picture

‘When I woke up this particular morning, I knew that in just a few hours, I would share the stage with Astronaut Chris Hadfield and Environmentalist David Suzuki at an insurance company event. My topic would be the future, fast change and disruption. The audience would consist mostly of insurance brokers, folks who are certainly in the midst of some rapid business model disruption.

I knew my message that day would be “Get ahead of the trends – challenge your role and enhance your value – in an era in which they very role is being challenged!’’

The quote came naturally with that thought!
