# Towers Perrin and the BBC – The future of risk — and the future of broadcast!

Today, I'm off to West Palm Beach, where I'll provide a keynote for the Towers Perrin reinsurance division, with the theme being "the future of risk." I'll take a look at some of the new and potential emerging risks, hazards and challenges that we will be faced with throughout society in the years to come -- and thoughts on how to develop an innovative culture to watch for and respond to these challenges far in advance of their occurrrence. Then I'm off to London, England, for a talk the next day to address the BBC Technology leadership forum; I'll provide insight into issues of convergence, digital broadcast, the future of media, amid a discussion of issues of innovation and issues of change. Both these presentations are highly customized, and draw upon three key topic areas: What comes next?
