# The 26 Principles, Revisited — #4: Anticipatory Intelligence — What I Said, and What’s Actually Happening

*Part of my “26 Principles, Revisited” series — checking my own math, nine months into the year I predicted.*

*Know that the future whispers before it shouts. Listen now.*

Day 4 was about building a personal radar system — fringe sources, weak-signal audits, and (this was new at the time) using AI “deep research” tools to scan far outside your own industry before a trend goes mainstream.

Here’s the twist: the specific tool I recommended as a competitive edge — deep-research AI assistants from Gemini, Claude, and ChatGPT — became a mainstream utility within the year, not a fringe advantage. That’s the whisper-to-shout cycle collapsing even faster than I described it. Which means the bar moved: using these tools isn’t an edge anymore. Not using them is now a visible liability.

**Verdict: Nailed it, and then aged into itself — the advantage I described became the baseline I warned you about.**

*Next up: Principle #5, Knowledge Velocity — revisited.*
