# Don’t Just Read One. Read the Conversation Between Them.

![Don't Just Read One. Read the Conversation Between Them. - Embracing Mediocrity / Escaping Mediocrity by Jim Carroll](https://jimcarroll.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/mediocrity-dont-just-read-one-read-the-conversation.jpg)

One warns you. One pushes you. Read them side by side and they start to argue, in the best way.

*Embracing Mediocrity* and *Escaping Mediocrity* are true companion books, built on thirty years of watching what separates teams that break through from teams that just get by. Funny, pointed, and an unusually good pair for a teambuilding session. Get both at [mediocrity.jimcarroll.com](https://mediocrity.jimcarroll.com)
