# Keynote: Land o’ Lakes, Phoenix – Keynote: Fast Consumers and the New World of Retail

How do you innovate when everything is faster still? The typical consumer scans some 12 feet of shelf space per second. A goldfish has a longer attention span than a human. Snack foods are the new fashion. These are just a few of the trends I covered for this dairy organization at their offsite leadership meeting – the goal was to inspire them on the trends that would define their future, and outline the innovative structure they need to put in place to capitalize on those trends.
