# World Pharma Congress, London, England – The Future of Medicine: Targeted, Precise, Individaulized!

I was invited in to open this global congress of pharma executives, with a talk about the reality of 21st century medicine. I built my talk around my ‘healthcare 2025’ theme, taking a look at the accelerating of genomic science, the impact of personal medical device connectivity, the virtualization of hospitals, and rapid advances in diagnosis and treatment as a result of fast moving science. The big issue for the industry? Reconciling the speed of scientific change up against the necessity and reality of regulatory process!
